The Hinds Community College Eagles Men's Golf Team has improved under new head coach Ernie Rogers in 2010. In two recent Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) tournaments Rogers saw his sophomore-heavy roster place seven times in the top 50.

Kiana McCarty of Brandon, a sophomore center on the Hinds Community College women's basketball team, has been selected to represent Hinds in the 2010 Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-Star game.

The Hinds Community College women's track team competed in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Indoor Nationals over the weekend and posted a strong showing. The nationals were held at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston, Ill.

After getting off to a blazing start to the 2010 season, the Hinds Community College baseball team has slipped of late. The Eagles have lost three of four games to move their overall record to 9-5.

The Hinds Community College men's track team competed in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Indoor National Championships over the weekend, and the Eagles posted an outstanding showing.
