Marcille McLendon

Marcille McLendon

Marcille McLendon is in her sixth season as the head coach of the Hinds women's soccer team. She has claimed five consecutive North division titles and has led the Lady Eagles to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) state playoffs from 2010-2014.

McLendon, the former Marcille Nunnally, was a two-year starter, All-state player and captain for Hinds during the 2000 and 2001 seasons as the Lady Eagles won back-to-back MACJC state championships and captured the 2001 National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XXIII and Southeastern Regional championships. 

After playing at Hinds, McLendon moved on to Tennessee Wesleyan College, where she was a two-year starter and all-conference performer. She earned a bachelor of science degree in Exercise and Sports Science degree from the Athens, Tenn., campus in 2004.

While serving as the head coach at East Mississippi Community College from 2005-2008, McLendon furthered her education by earning a Master of Arts in Teaching Physical Education from the University of West Alabama in 2007. She has also spent time as an adjunct instructor at the Hinds and Holmes Community College campuses, along with serving as an online instructor for Mississippi College. 

McLendon is married to Jeremy and the couple has three children, daughter Ollie Grace, son Charlie and daughter Josie. The family resides in Clinton.
