The Hinds Community College Eagles will open the 2010 season on Thursday night, traveling to Fulton to take on Itawamba Community College in a 7 p.m. match up.

The Hinds Eagles will hold an open intrasquad scrimmage Thursday at 7 p.m. at Joe Renfroe Stadium in Raymond. The event is free and open to the public.

Hinds Community College head football coach Gene Murphy has announced the hiring of two new members of his football staff. Kenny Jackson will now serve as the Eagles defensive line coach, while Lee Wilbanks will serve in the capacity of wide receivers coach.
