Eagle Ridge Golf Course on the Raymond Campus has been named the top municipal golf course in the state of Mississippi by Golf Digest magazine.

The list was selected using a combination of star ratings from the "Best Places to Play" and the "Best in State" rankings done by the Digest to select the best muny course in each state. For this list, a "muny" course is defined as a course owned by a city, town, county or state.
