The 2010 Hinds Community College baseball schedule has been released by head baseball coach Sam Temple. 

The 48-game slate includes 24 playing dates with doubleheaders played on each date. 

Hinds, which finished 35-19 with a berth in the state and regional tournaments in 2009, opens play on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2010, with a 1 p.m. start against Mississippi Delta Community College in Raymond. 

The Eagles will play host to the 2010 Wes Cliburn Memorial Tournament in Raymond this season, as the tournament has traditionally been held in Vicksburg. Hinds will play on Thursday, March 4 and Sunday, March 7, in the tournament. 

Conference play in the always-tough South division, which will consist of 24 games, begins on Saturday, March 20, as the Eagles travel to Decatur to take on East Central Community College in a 1 p.m. start. 

Hinds will wrap up regular season and conference play on Saturday, May 1, with a trip to Perkinston to face Gulf Coast Community College in a 1 p.m. tilt. The 2010 state and regional tournaments will begin the following weekends in May.
