The Hinds Community College men’s soccer team had its 2009 season come to an end on Friday night, dropping a 2-1 game to Meridian Community College in a play-in game for a berth in the Region XXIII Tournament. 

The tournament was held at Pearl River Community College in Poplarville. 

Dillon Walker of Pearl scored the lone Hinds goal, his 11^th on the 2009 campaign. 

Hinds finished the season with a 10-7-1 record, while also winning their 10^th consecutive North division championship and finishing as runner-up in the state championship.
