The men’s soccer team at Hinds dropped its first North division contest in two years on Wednesday, falling to Northwest Community College, 4-3, in overtime.
The good news for Hinds is that the team still holds the division lead with a 7-5-1 overall record and 4-1 record in the North.
Dillon Walker of Pearl (2 goals) and Adam Johnson of Huddersfield, England (1 goal), provided the scoring for Hinds.
The team will return to play on Friday, as the Eagles host East Miss. Community College in a 7 p.m. tilt.
