Micheryln Smith, head women's basketball coach at Hinds Community College in Utica, has announced the signing of eight student-athletes for the 2009-2010 season.

The 2009-2010 Hinds Community College men’s and women’s basketball schedules have been released, head coaches Ralph Moore (men) and Micheryln Smith (women) announced today. 

The men and women will both open play on Monday, Nov. 2, at Mississippi Delta Community College in Moorhead. Tip off for the women’s game will be at 6 p.m., followed by the men’s tip at 8 p.m. 

The Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs will play their final games of the 2009 calendar year on Monday, Dec. 14, before giving way to the Christmas holidays. 

Each team will return to action on Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010, traveling to Goodman to take on Holmes Community College. 

The final regular season games for both teams will be on Thursday, Feb. 18, as the teams travel to Summit to face Southwest Community College in a 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. tilt.
