The Lady Bulldogs of Hinds are still searching for that much needed second victory, but the past week has not been kind to them. Hinds fell to the Mississippi Delta Community College Lady Trojans, 79-52, on Thursday evening in Utica, while also dropping a game to Delgado Community College (La.), 63-52, on Monday night.

Kiana McCarty of Brandon, a sophomore forward, continued her nice start against Delta, pouring in 17 points to pace Hinds.

McCarty also led the way against Delgado, scoring 14 points. She was the Lady Bulldogs only double-digit scorer in both contests.

The Lady Bulldogs will return to action on Monday, when they will face Meridian Community College on the road in a 4 p.m. matchup.
