The Lady Eagles soccer team traveled to Senatobia last week for a pivotal North division matchup with Northwest Community College, and came out winners, 4-0. The win helped Hinds remain undefeated in division play with a 4-0 record and improved the team’s overall record to 6-7 overall.
 
Hinds scored all four goals in the first half of the game, with Becca Steen of Brandon leading the way with three goals. Jessie Dotson of Byram finished with a goal as well.
 
Melanie Webb of Brandon and Dotson provided assists on two of Steen’s goals, while Amanda Smith of Brandon assisted on Dotson’s goal
 
Lauren Sipes of Pearl received the shutout in goal with six saves.
 
“I am proud of the effort these girls continue to give during division play,” said Hinds coach Kori Babb.
 
The Lady Eagles will travel to Marion, Ala., on Sunday to take on Marion College in a 2 p.m. start.
