Tennis teams announce playing schedule

Tim Gust, head men's and women's tennis coach at Hinds Community College, has announced his 2012 playing schedule, which will consist of 13 regular season contests to be played together on the same dates.

The Eagles and Lady Eagles will open play at home on Feb. 17 when Northeast Community College comes to Raymond for a 2 p.m. start.

Hinds will have 12 more dates before starting postseason play on April 18 at the annual Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) state tournament in Tupelo.

The National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Region XXIII tournament will be the following weekend in Meridian to wrap up the 2012 season.
