Women's soccer adds nine signees

Hinds Community College women's soccer coach Marcille McLendon has added nine student-athletes to her 2012 signing class. Eight signees are from Rankin County and the other is from Hinds County.

McLendon inked four prospects from Florence High School, three from Pearl High School and one each from Brandon High School and Central Hinds Academy.

“Each one of these athletes have made it to at least the second round of the state playoffs, and many of them have been named to the All-State team, so they are winning players that come from winning programs,” said McLendon.

“This just about wraps up the end of our recruiting, and I feel good about our class so far.”

The four signees from Florence are Victoria Burnham (center back), Dawn Campbell (forward), Haley Dickson (center mid) and Morgan Sandifer (center mid).
