SCOOBA, Miss. – The Hinds Community College Men's soccer team put on a scoring display on Tuesday evening as they put together a 7-1 victory over East Mississippi Community College.
Ryan McQueen and
Fischer Reed each had a brace in the contest.
The Eagles got the scoring started when João Pereira found
Ryan McQueen as he found the back of the net to give Hinds the 1-0 advantage.
Fischer Reed found the back of the net early on to give the Eagles the 2-0 advantage.
The home team found a gap in the defense to score their first goal of the contest to make the score 2-1. Reed scored his second goal of the match midway through the first half to give Hinds the 3-1 advantage.
Ryan McQueen scored his second goal of the contest just before the halftime break to bring the score to 4-1.
Luka Sari,
James Walker, and
Filip Ratkovic each scored a goal in the second half as the Eagles sealed the 7-1 victory over the Lions in the Season Finale.
Fischer Reed and
Ryan McQueen finished the season as the leading goal scorers with five goals, while João Pereira finished the season with eight assists.
