SUMMIT, Miss. – The Hinds Community College Men's Soccer team picked up a 1-0 victory over the Southwest Mississippi Community College Bears last Saturday. With the win, the Eagles improve to 7-2-3 overall and 4-1-2 in conference play.
It was a stalemate for the opening 45 minutes of play as both defenses played extremely well to go into the halftime break with a score of 0-0.
Late in the second half,
Fischer Reed found the back of the net to give the Eagles the 1-0 advantage.
Tony King earned the assist on the goal. Hinds' defense continued to shine as the Bears could not find the back of the net as the Eagles picked up the 1-0 victory over the Bears.
Goalkeeper,
Younes Ezzaim, played all 90 minutes in the win over Southwest.
The Eagles will return to action on Friday, October 13 against the Itawamba Community College Indians in Fulton, MS. Kickoff is set for 3:00 PM.
