RAYMOND, Miss. – The Hinds Community College Men's Soccer team secured a pivotal 3-0 victory over East Central on Tuesday night at Tom Shepherd Field, improving their record to 12-2-1 overall and 6-2-1 in conference play.
After a tightly contested first half, the Eagles broke through in the 75th minute when
Jedin Lee delivered a precise assist to
Mathias Christensen, who buried the opening goal to make it 1-0. Just five minutes later,
Cody Barnett extended the lead with a composed finish from the penalty spot.
Hinds kept the pressure on, and August Lidiksen capped off the scoring with a late goal to seal the shutout win.

Elliot Duffy turned in a solid performance between the posts, recording four saves to preserve the clean sheet.
The Eagles return to action on Friday as they hit the road to face Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College in Perkinston. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
