Tom Toulson is entering his third season as an assistant coach with the Hinds Community College women’s soccer program. Toulson brings collegiate playing experience, coaching knowledge and a strong background in player development to the Lady Eagles’ staff.
Prior to joining Hinds, Toulson served as a graduate assistant coach at NCAA Division II Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi. During his playing career at Delta State, he appeared in 31 matches, recording eight goals and five assists.
Before his time at Delta State, Toulson played at William Carey University in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, where he appeared in 18 matches as a midfielder for the Crusaders.
A native of Barnsley, England, Toulson earned his bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and Sports Coaching from Delta State and recently completed his master’s degree in Exercise Science from the university.
In addition to his role at Hinds, Toulson currently coaches a club team with Mississippi Rush United. He resides in Flowood. Toulson is the son of Jill and Dave Toulson and has one sister, Amy.
