Bulldogs lose heartbreaker at Coahoma on Saturday

The Hinds Community College men's basketball team dropped a heartbreaking 68-67 loss at Coahoma Community College in a non-conference contest on Saturday in Clarksdale.

Hinds is now 4-6 overall and remains 1-1 in the South with the narrow loss.

David Robinson (Vicksburg) led all Bulldog scorers with 17 points, and also grabbed six rebounds and dished out three assists versus the Tigers of CCC.

Trojuan White (Hazlehurst) had 14 points and six assists to help the Hinds offense, and Ryyale Brown (Fayette) chipped in with 12 points and five boards.

Hinds also dropped a game earlier in the week, falling to Southwest Community College, 74-37, in Utica on Monday, Dec. 7.

White was the lone double-digit scorer for Hinds, knocking in 16 points and blocking two shots.

Hinds will resume play after the Christmas break, traveling to Goodman to face Holmes Community College on Thursday, Jan. 7.
