Bulldogs win thriller at Co-Lin on Thursday

The Hinds Community College men's basketball team pulled out a thrilling 64-63 victory over Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson on Thursday night to open South division play.

The Bulldogs of Hinds are now 4-4 overall and 1-0 in the South with the narrow victory.

Trojuan White (Hazlehurst) had a big night on Thursday for Hinds, coming off the bench to score 18 points and grab seven rebounds.

David Robinson (Vicksburg) chipped in 16 points and five rebounds, to go along with two assists and two steals.

Hinds also picked up a close victory in the last contest before the Thanksgiving break with a 69-65 win at Delgado (La.) Community College.

Bobby Powell (Jackson) was the high scorer for the Bulldogs in the win, scoring 18 points and pulling down nine boards.

Robinson added 13 points, five rebounds and four assists versus Delgado.

Hinds will return to Utica on Monday night, hosting Southwest Community College at 7:30 p.m. at J.D. Boyd Gymnasium.
