Men's basketball loses OT thriller to Pearl River

The men's basketball at Hinds fell in overtime, 81-76, to Pearl River Community College at J.D. Boyd Gym in Utica on Thursday night.

LaDarrius Drain was a force last night for the Bulldogs, leading the team in points (22), rebounds (eight) and steals (four) in the heartbreaking defeat.

Clayton Tate (Terry) had a big scoring night as well, as he finished with 16 points in 41 minutes of action.

The Bulldogs also had a narrow home loss on Monday night to Southwest Community College, as the Bears of SWCC came away from Utica with a 60-54 win.

DeAndre Bolton (Bolton) led Hinds in scoring with 11 points to lead the offensive attack.

The Bulldogs (8-11) will now travel to Meridian Community College for an 8 p.m. start on Monday night.
