Box Score SENATOBIA - The Hinds Community College Bulldogs men's basketball team evened up their conference record to 3-3 Thursday night with a win on the road over Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Four players hit double figures in the 74-65 win. Sophomore forward Jalen Myers, of Madison, Ala., notched a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds, including seven on the defensive end. Sophoimore guard Kyle Hayman, of Monroe, La., put in 16 points and three rebounds. Sophomore guard Treylan Smith, of Petal, added 15 points, including two buckets from three-point land. Sophomore forward Mario Fenner, of Como, was just one rebound short of a double-double, with 13 points and nine boards.

The Bulldogs took care of business at the free-throw line as well, shooting 69 percent.

"This was a tough road game," head coach Jonathan Nevol said. "It was a real important game for our team, for a lot of guys, and this took a full team effort. This group has a lot of fight in them and they won't back down. I'm proud of how they responded after dropping the close one on Monday. We were not perfect, but the guys focused in what we were to talking about, and trying to get better at. As a group, I thought they were so much more focused and determined to be a more competitive team tonight and finish at the end."

The Bulldogs return to action Monday night at home against Southwest Mississippi Community College. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. with all action livestreamed at https://hindsccsports.net/channel-1/
