Eagles in Wesson Thursday for regular season finale

RAYMOND – Hinds Community College football will conclude their 2022 campaign Thursday, October 27, when they head to Wesson to take on Copiah-Lincoln Community College. Kickoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
 
A win against the Wolves of Co-Lin would push the Eagles over .500 and earn head coach Larry Williams his fourth straight and fifth winning season during his time at the helm.
 
Week Eight
 
In week seven, both teams fell on opposite sides of the win/loss column. Hinds fell to Gulf Coast 34-7 and Co-Lin topped East Central in Decatur 26-14.
 
Offense This Season
 
On offense, the Wolves are averaging 384 yard per game in total offense with 171 yards coming on the ground and 212 coming through the air. The Wolves are also averaging just north of 25 points per game.
 
Hinds is averaging 300 yards of total offense per game with 160 yards coming on the ground and 140 coming through the air. The Eagles are averaging 21 points per game.
 
Defense This Season
 
On defense, the Eagles are allowing 278 yard per game with 67 yards coming on the ground and 211 coming through the air. The Eagles are also allowing 21 points per game on defense.
 
Co-Lin is allowing 326 yards per game with 130 yards coming on the ground and 196 coming through the air. Similar to Hinds, the Wolves are allowing 20 points per game on defense.
 
Last 10
 
Hinds holds a 6-4 advantage over the Wolves in the last ten games. The Eagles have won two straight with their last loss coming in 2018 when they lost 41-27 to Co-Lin in Wesson.
 
Last Meeting
 
Hinds came out on top in a close game 23-14 in the most recent meeting between these two teams.
 
Home Away from Home
 
The Eagles are undefeated in 2022 when playing on the road. The road wins have come against East Central, Southwest and Itawamba. At home, the Eagles are 1-4 with their only win coming against Pearl River. Co-Lin is currently 1-2 at home with their only home win coming against Coahoma.
