Hinds Student-Athletes Have Successful Fall In Classroom

Raymond, MS - Hinds Community College Student-Athletes enter Christmas break knowing that their hard work in the classroom has paid off during this fall semester. Hinds student-athletes compete at the highest level within the MACCC and NJCAA and spend countless hours in practice and in game preparation. They also spend many hours each week in class and extra hours in study hall to make sure they succeed not only on the field but also in the classroom.

This past semester is a testament to the hard work of everyone at Hinds Community College that is involved with helping all students and student-athletes. Everyone in the Student Success Center who help advise and tutor our student-athletes and all the people working in Student Services has helped Hinds student-athletes be successful this semester.

Hinds Athletics finished the Fall 2022 semester with a cumulative 3.18 GPA!
Ten of Hinds's fourteen programs finished with over a 3.00 GPA!
Two programs finished with a GPA over 3.50!
Eleven of Hinds's fourteen programs increased their Fall 2022 GPA from their Fall 2021 GPA!
