Head coach
Jonathan Nevol was proud of his team's fight against solid competition
"I'm grateful for this win. I'm grateful to start our next four-game span with a victory. East (Mississippi) is a tough team who has some incredible wins and is ranked nineteenth in the country. They challenge you defensively and play super hard. This is a big win for our program with it being the second win over a top-25 opponent this season. I'm especially proud of Jalen (Myers) because he has been our guy all season and he stepped up in the second half and carried us to victory."
The Bulldogs return to the hard-wood Thursday evening on the road against Holmes Community College. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
