RAYMOND – Hinds Community College's track and field program is set to participate in the 2022 National Junior College Athletic Association Indoor Meet Friday and Saturday in Pittsburg, Kansas.
Every year, Hinds track and field impresses. This year has been no different. After the first indoor meet at Samford University, the Eagles boasted 13 national qualifiers.
Head coach
Reginald Dillon is ready for his team to finish what they started.
"We are ready to compete in the Indoor National Meet," said Dillon. "The women's team is currently 12
th in the nation and the men's team is 25
th. But you have to throw out the rankings because now it's the top nine in each event that make it to the finals in every event entered. That's the key to finishing this indoor season strong and getting on the podium."
