Indoor Track and Field Successful After Samford Invite

Raymond, MS - The Men's and Women's Track and Field teams had a very successful weekend after their trip to Birmingham and the Samford Invite. After just their only second meet of the season, the teams boasted twelve national qualifiers for the NJCAA DI National Indoor Meet. Highlighted below are the individuals and relay's that have qualified for the indoor meet to be held in Topeka KS the first weekend in March.

Coach Dillion was impressed with their performances this weekend. "In the first two meets we set goals to get a certain number of athletes qualified in certain events. The team responded this week with some great performances on the track and in the field events. We are going to build on the success we had this week, we will train for two weeks and then we will be back on the track on Feb. 11" Dillon said.
