Werremeyer Chosen To Continue Serving on NJCAA Sport Committees

Raymond, MS - Hinds Director of Athletics Nathan Werremeyer has been chosen to continue to serve on three National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) Sport Committees for the 2024-25 school year.

Each year, NJCAA leadership selects individuals from within the association to serve on various sport committees. Heading into his fourth year as the Hinds AD, Werremeyer has been chosen to serve on the Division I Women's Basketball and Competitive Cheer Committees and selected as the Vice Chair of the Division I Football Committee.

NJCAA Sport Committees are made up of members from NJCAA regions and are responsible for a range of duties throughout the year. For the 2024-25 academic year, 6 different MACCC Athletic Directors will serve on 11 different committees. These responsibilities include overseeing national rankings, selecting All-America teams, determining postseason seeding and at-large selections, and managing national championship events.
