RAYMOND, Miss. –
DJ Miller on the Hinds Community College Football picked up his first accolade of the season after being named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Football Special Teams Player of the Week.
Miller was a game changer for the Eagles in the 56-13 win over Pearl River CC. His biggest play came out of the halftime break when he took the opening kick of the second half 98 yards for the touchdown.
Miller and the rest of the Eagles will return to action tomorrow for a huge showdown against the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Bulldogs with the winner earning a spot in the in the playoffs.
