RAYMOND, Miss. –
Kaleb Washington on the Hinds Community College Football picked up his first accolade of the season after being named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Football Defensive Player of the Week.
Washington was a game changer for the Eagles in the 56-13 win over PRCC on Thursday night. He turned in a monster performance with back-to-back interception returns for touchdowns (one from 73 yards and another from 72) giving the Eagles a commanding 35-6 advantage before halftime.
Washington and the rest of the Eagles will return to action tomorrow for a huge showdown against the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Bulldogs with the winner earning a spot in the in the playoffs.
