Box Score PERKINSTON, Miss. – The Hinds Community College Men's Basketball team picked up a solid 83-75 victory over the Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College Bulldogs on Tuesday evening in Perkinston. With the win, Hinds improves to 11-12 on the season and 4-4 in conference play. 

Both teams exchanged baskets for the majority of the first quarter as Hinds held the 44-42 advantage at the halftime break. Hinds maintained the lead for the next 12 minutes of play until MGCC tied things up at 64. Hinds jumped back into and lead the rest of the game to earn the 83-75 victory. 

Jakobe Singleton led Hinds with 20 points after going 8-for-16 from the field and 4-for-4 from the charity tripe. Issac Ratliff finished the contest logging another double-double with 19points and 11 rebounds in the win. Austin Ratliff had a solid offensive performance against the Bulldogs recording 16 points and shot 7-for-9 from the floor. Gabe Fajardo shot 50% from the floor and from behind the arc to earn 15 points in the game. Daveon Henry registered eight points and tallied five rebounds in the game. 

Hinds will receive a win on the overall record for Thursday's game against NWCC due to a forfeit, so a men's game will not take place in Utica on Thursday. The next time the Bulldogs will be in action Monday at 7:30 PM when they travel to Summit to take on Southwest Mississippi CC in a pivotal conference matchup.
