JACKSON, Miss. –
Jakobe Singleton of the Hinds Community College Men's basketball team was named the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Tuesday.
Singleton was dominant on the hardwood over the three games played this week. He averaged 27.7 PPG, 96% from the charity stripe, and 57.1 % from the floor. His best performance came on Thursday night against Co-Lin when he posted 31 points in the overtime win at home.
On the season, Singleton leads the Bulldogs in scoring with 20 points per game and is shooting 83.5% from the charity stripe. Additionally, he leads the team with 36 steals and is averaging 8.7 rebounds per game.

Singleton and the rest of the Bulldogs will return to action on Thursday as they take on Holmes CC inside J. D. Boyd Gymnasium for Sophomore Night.
