Raymond, Miss - Hinds has released its Athletic Director's Honor Roll for the 2024-25 academic year and a record total of 138 student-athletes have made the list. This number of student-athletes constitutes over half of the student-athlete population. 

Compiled by Assistant Athletic Director Andrew Gunn and Athletic Director Nathan Werremeyer, the list honors all student-athletes that have accomplished a 3.0 grade point average or higher, with a minimum of 12 hours earned. The list also recognizes overall team GPAs, as well as those student-athletes with a 4.0 GPA for the semester.

Of the 138 student-athletes to be honored, the Hinds baseball team sported 25 selections to the honor roll, the most of any Hinds team. Football was second with 19 selections, followed by softball with 14 selections and men's soccer with 11 selections apiece.

Women's soccer posted 10 selections to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll. Rounding out the total student-athlete selections were men's track (10), women's basketball (8), men's tennis (6), women's track (8), Raymond-Cheer (8), women's tennis and men's basketball (4), Utica-Cheer (4) and men's golf (2).

Additionally, a total of 19 student-athletes finished with 4.0 GPAs for the semester, led by four from softball.

In team GPAs, the battle at the top was neck and neck, with baseball earning the highest GPA at 3.17. Women's Track was close behind, sporting a 3.10 GPA, followed by a 3.06 mark from softball.
