UTICA, Miss. - The Hinds Community College Men's Basketball team put together one of its most complete performances of the season Monday night, defeating Northeast Mississippi Community College 87–74 inside J.D. Boyd Gymnasium.

Hinds set the tone early, racing out to a 40–27 halftime lead behind efficient shooting and strong defensive pressure. The Bulldogs shot nearly 60 percent from the field for the game (34-of-57) and controlled the tempo from start to finish and never surrendered the lead.

Terrance Clark led the way with 20 points and went 10-of-14 from the floor. Colain Brown added 18 points and knocked down eight free throws, while Austin Ratliff poured in 17 points with five rebounds and four assists in an all-around effort.

Daveon Henry came off the bench to score 11 points, and Tyric Francois added eight points, including a pair of three-pointers. The Bulldogs' balanced attack helped them score 48 points in the paint and 15 fast-break points.

Defensively, Hinds limited Northeast's rhythm for much of the night, holding the Tigers to 31.8 percent shooting in the first half. Although Northeast found more success after the break, the Bulldogs answered every run and maintained a comfortable margin down the stretch. With the victory, Hinds improves its conference standing and builds momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season. 

Hinds will return to action on Thursday, February 19^th against Northwest Mississippi CC in Senatobia. Tipoff is set for 7:30 PM.
