COLLEGE: Played for Sam Temple as a Hinds freshman in 2015… Finished his rookie campaign with a .375 batting average in 48 plate appearances, along with scoring 18 runs… Had 10 RBI on the strength of two doubles, one triple and a .444 on-base percentage… Named to the 2016 NJCAA Top Returning Players list

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Warren Central High School for Conner Douglas along with current Hinds teammates Carlisle Koestler and Layne Tedder… Four-year letterman in baseball at WC, where he was a two-time All-County selection and was also named to the All-District team on two occasions… Selected as team captain for the Vikings… Finished with a .325 batting average with 28 runs scored, 25 RBI, 17 stolen bases, seven doubles, three triples and one home run in his final season… Three-year letterman on the gridiron at Warren Central and was named to the All-State, All-District and All-County teams as a punter/kicker and defensive back… Had 58 tackles, three interceptions and eight pass deflections as a junior, and had a 41.3 yards per punt average with 23 punts inside the 20-yard line as a senior
