COLLEGE: Named to Phi Theta Kappa, the national two-year honor society, for his work in the classroom. Played his freshman year in 2016 under Sam Temple and Hinds Community College. Acy has signed with Tulane University in the early signing period.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for former Hinds great Jeff McClaskey at Northwest Rankin High School… Three-year letterman for the Cougars, where he was a catcher… Selected to the Mississippi State Games following his sophomore and junior seasons… Competed in the 2014 Junior Sunbelt Classic in McAlester, Okla., with Team Mississippi, joining fellow Hinds teammates Colin Coates, Will Craft, Jackson Mitchell and Cartez Posey… Named to the 6A All-State team as a senior and was an All-Metro second team selection by The Clarion-Ledger as a junior... Selected to the USA Today All-State second team and played in the D.M Howie Crossroads Diamond Club All-Star Game as a senior… Named to the 2015 Southeast Region Honorable Mention team by Perfect Game… Chosen to the All-District team at the conclusion of his junior and senior seasons… Also competed in bowling as a junior and senior, and was a member of Mu Alpha Theta and Fellowship of Christian Athletes at NWR
