COLLEGE: Played for Sam Temple as a Hinds freshman in 2015, where he finished the season with a 2-0 record and had 11 strikeouts to just four walks in 16 innings… Named to the 2016 NJCAA Top Returning Pitchers list… Signed with the University of Southern Mississippi during the fall 2015 early signing period… Spent the 2014 season as a redshirt at Delta State University under head coach Mike Kinnison

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Tri-County Academy for Ricky Owens... Four sport athlete in baseball, basketball, football and track & field... Earned All-Star MVP honors in baseball, as well as being named Offensive MVP... Mississippi Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) All-State first team selection and first team All-District choice as a junior and senior... Named Top Performer by the MAIS and The Clarion-Ledger on multiple occasions... Defensive MVP in basketball, as well as being chosen to the All-District first team and All-Tournament team... Offensive MVP and MAIS All-District selection in football... State champion in track and field in four events (100 meter dash, 200 meter dash and 4x100 & 4x200 meter relays)
