HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Stacey Hester at Brandon High School… Three-year letterman for the Bulldogs, where he was a teammate of current Hinds teammates Colton Cox and Jackson Mitchell… As a senior, he finished in the top five in home runs and RBI overall in the state of Mississippi… Voted to the All-State first team and was selected as the BHS Offensive MVP after leading the team in homeruns and RBI… Named to the All-State second team as a junior after finishing second on the team in batting average and was chosen as the team’s defensive MVP… Competed in the Junior Sunbelt Classic in McAlester, Okla., for Team Mississippi, joining fellow Hinds teammates Colin Coates, Will Craft, Jackson Mitchell, Cartez Posey and Acy Owen… Honors student at BHS
