Eli Brum is in his second season as the program’s graduate assistant coach. He works with the Hinds catchers and hitters.

In his first season in Raymond, he aided in the development of former backstops Tyler Janos and Thomas Marsala, who extended their careers at Delta State University and Western Kentucky University, respectively.

Brum has spent the 2023 and 2024 summers coaching with the Minot Hot Tots in the prestigious Northwoods League. His coaching experience also includes over five years with the Bakersfield Waves, a year with the Garciaparra Baseball Group in Los Angeles, and a season of high school coaching at Stockdale High School (Calif.).

Brum, a California native, was a former catcher for California State University, Bakersfield, from 2019 to 2021, which also included a summer league stint playing for the Bismarck (N.D.) Bullmoose.
