Ashley Horne is in her fifth year as the Hinds Community College head cheerleading coach.
She is in her sixth year serving as an instructor in the Health and Physical Education Department at Hinds after graduating with a bachelor of science degree in kinesiology from Mississippi College and a master's degree in sports administration/management from The University of Southern Mississippi.
Horne attended Copiah Lincoln Community College, where as a standout basketball player she was selected to the All-State and All-Region tournament teams, and was chosen as a Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges (MACJC) All-Star.
She does the advising for the football program and monitors compliance for all sports at Hinds CC. Horne was also selected as one of the "2019 Top 50 Business Women in Mississippi" by The Mississippi Business Journal.
She is a high school graduate of Central Hinds Academy where she was named an All-Star in basketball and cheerleading.
She is married to Taylor Horne and they have one daughter, Hallie Faye and one son, Jase. The family resides in Raymond.
