Reginald Dillon

Reginald Dillon has been at Hinds since 2000, serving as the head coach for the highly regarded men's and women's track and field program. Dillon also serves as the Director of Football Operations.

Dillon’s tenure at Hinds has seen a remarkable amount of success, including 43 individual national championships and more than 180 All-Americans. He was also named as the 2008 NJCAA Coach of the Year. Both his men’s and women’s teams have been ranked annually as one of the top programs in the nation.
 
Dillon is a native of Tylertown and a graduate of Tylertown High School. He furthered his education at Hinds Community College and Jackson State University.
 
After his time at JSU, Dillon returned to Hinds, serving as an assistant football coach from 1997-2004. Dillon has sent numerous athletes to four-year colleges around the nation during his tenure at Hinds.

He has also worked with Tyson Gay, the American record holder in the 100m dash, at 9.77 seconds, during summer 2007.

Dillon lives in Raymond with his wife, Maranda, and son, Nicholas.
