Buster Bueche has been head athletic trainer at Hinds Community College since 2019.
The Prairieville, Louisiana native comes to Hinds after having spent the last seven years as the assistant certified athletic trainer at Holmes Community College. Bueche also covered four high schools in the Goodman area for Mississippi Sports Medicine during his time at Holmes.
Prior to his athletic training career, Bueche attended East Ascension High School and graduated in 1997. Upon his graduation, he attended Nicholls State University for two years before joining the United States Navy. Bueche spent three years in the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged in 2001.
Bueche went on to attend Southeastern Louisiana University from 2001 to 2007 where he earned his bachelors of science in athletic training. He then became a graduate assistant at Nicholls State University from 2007 to 2009 and earned his master’s degree from there in Higher Education Administration.
Bueche is married to Tracy Dubroc from St. Amant, Louisiana, and they have two kids, Coby and Brenden.
