HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Chris Rash at Pearl High School… Three-year letterman at PHS, a perennial Magnolia State powerhouse… Helped the Pirates claim two 5A state championships… During his senior year, he was selected as team captain for the Pirates… Selected to the Mississippi Association of Coaches (MAC) all-star game and won offensive MVP honors… Selected to the all-state first team... High school teammate of current Hinds teammates Haynes Cook and Dalton Sullivan

PERSONAL: Graduate of Pearl HS in 2015… Resides in Pearl … Uncle, Seth Smith, played at Ole Miss before going on to play in the MLB… Son of Paige and Mike Bounds… Secondary education major
