Jackie Martin-Glass became head coach of the Hinds Lady Bulldogs basketball program in fall 2018.

Martin-Glass arrived in Utica after a successful stint at Warren Central High School where she served as the head coach, compiling a record of 130-116 over the course of 10 seasons (2010-2018). Throughout her tenure at Warren Central, Martin-Glass' exemplary coaching and leadership received tremendous recognition as she was awarded the Vicksburg Post Coach of the Year four times. She also was recognized as the JROTC Educator of the Semester three times, the Vicksburg Warren Schools District Educator of the Year and the JROTC Educator of the Year.
 
Prior to her coaching career, Martin-Glass was standout basketball player herself. She attended Warren Central High School where she helped lead her team to two Mississippi Class 5A State Championships and was tabbed as the Mississippi Clarion Ledger Player of the Year in 1987.
 
Following her prep career, Martin-Glass continued her basketball career at the University of Mississippi where she was a four-year letter winner for the Rebels (1988-1992). While at Ole Miss, she was a two-time All-SEC selection (1990 and 1992) and led the Rebels to its first ever Southeastern Conference Championship (1992). She also helped lead her team to the NCAA Elite Eight and was named to the Mideast All-Region Team (1992). She still holds her place in the Rebel record books in numerous career categories ranking in the top five all-time in three-pointers and assists. She also ranks first in NCAA Tournament games played and fourth in total games played.
 
Following her playing career, she served as the graduate assistant coach for Ole Miss for one season. In 2008, she was inducted into the Ole Miss Athletic Hall of Fame.

Martin-Glass has a bachelor's degree from The University of Mississippi and a master's degree from Alcorn State University.
