Lady Eagles shut out Holmes

The women's tennis team at Hinds Community College earned a 9-0 shutout victory over Holmes Community College on Wednesday.

The Lady Eagles are now 6-5 on the year after 11 matches of the 2014 season and have posted the following results:

2/8/14 – Hinds vs. Marion Military (Ala.) – L, 9-0
2/14/14 – Hinds vs. Holmes – Canceled
2/18/14 – Hinds vs. Meridian – L, 8-1
2/21/14 – Hinds vs. Northeast – W, 8-1
2/22/14 – Hinds vs. Itawamba – L, 5-4
2/25/14 – Hinds vs. East Central – W, 6-3
2/26/14 – Hinds vs. Gulf Coast – L, 8-1
3/1/14 – Hinds vs. Northwest – W, 7-2
3/18/14 – Hinds vs. East Central – W, 7-2
3/19/14 – Hinds vs. Jones – L, 9-0
3/22/14 – Hinds vs. Northwest – W, 8-1
3/26/14 – Hinds vs. Holmes – W, 9-0

The Lady Eagles travel to Jones County Junior College on Tuesday for a 2 p.m. start with the Lady Bobcats.
