Busy week ahead for men's tennis

The Hinds Community College men's tennis team was hit with a number of rainouts and cancelations due to the late winter weather and is now faced with a steady dose of upcoming matches.

The Eagles travel to Itawamba Community College today and Northeast Community College on Saturday, before facing Copiah-Lincoln Community College and East Central Community College next week.

Hinds hosted Jones County Junior College on Monday in Raymond, but were unable to come away with a team victory, falling to the Bobcats, 8-1.

The men also fell to East Central, 9-0, on March 19 and to Meridian Community College, 8-1, on March 16.

The individual results vs. Jones are as follows:
