Eagles hit with a number of delays

The Hinds Community College men's tennis team has faced a bevy of cancelations and rainouts throughout the early portion of the 2015 season, thus the Eagles have only competed in four matches to this point.

Hinds is currently 0-4 on the year after falling to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, 9-0, in the latest match on February 26.

The Eagles return to action after Spring Break on Monday, traveling to Meridian Community College on March 16.

The individual results vs. Gulf Coast on Feb. 26 are as follows:
#1 Singles – Aaron Gray – L, 6-0 & 6-0
#2 Singles – Austin Pevey – L, 6-1 & 6-0
#3 Singles – Robert Rhett – L, 6-0 & 6-1
#4 Singles – Melvin McNair– L, 6-2 & 6-1
#5 Singles – Kyle Burton – L, 6-0 & 6-2
#6 Singles – Peter Bethea – L, 7-6 (2) & 6-1

#1 Doubles – Gray/Pevey – L, 8-0
#2 Doubles – Rhett/McNair – L, 8-4
#3 Doubles – Burton/Bethea – L, 8-3
