Bulldogs defeated at East Central on Tuesday

The Bulldogs of Hinds Community College fell to the East Central Community College Warriors, 74-59, on the hardwood in Decatur on Tuesday night.

Corey McLaurin (Florence) led all Hinds scorers in the loss, dropping in 17 points and dishing out seven assists.

Zachery Hudson (Jackson) had a big night as well, scoring 16 points and pulling down a team-leading eight rebounds.

The Bulldogs fell to 4-10 overall and 1-5 in the South with Tuesday night's loss.

Hinds also had a road defeat on Thursday, Jan. 14, falling to Meridian Community College, 78-57.

Trojuan White (Hazlehurst) led the Bulldogs with 17 points and Bobby Powell (Jackson) chipped in with 11 points of his own against Meridian.

Hinds now has a quick turnaround, traveling to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College on Thursday for their next South division battle. Game time is set for 7:30 p.m.
