Men's tennis heads to Meridian on Wednesday

The Hinds Community College men's tennis team will travel to Meridian Community College on Wednesday to face Meridian Community College at 2 p.m.

Hinds recently fell to East Central Community College, 7-2, on Feb. 26 to fall to 2-2.

The Eagles defeated Northeast Community College, 9-0, just a day before on Feb. 25.

The individual results vs. East Central on Feb. 26 are as follows:
#1 Singles – Daniel Yepez – L, 6-4 & 1-6 (10-8)
#2 Singles – Chris Crapps – W, 4-6, 6-4 (10-4)
#3 Singles – Matthew Burks – L, 6-1 & 6-3
#4 Singles – Landon Young– L, 6-1 & 6-4
#5 Singles – Ryan Wheeless – L, 6-3 & 3-6 (10-4)
#6 Singles – Trace Myers – L, 6-1 & 6-2

#1 Doubles – Burks/Yepez – W, 8-2
#2 Doubles – Crapps/Young – L, 8-4
#3 Doubles – Myers/Wheeless – L, 8-6
