Box Score RAYMOND – Hinds Community College men's soccer team lost a heartbreaker to Itawamba Community College Friday evening on Tom Shepherd Field.
 
Itawamba jumped out to an early lead with a goal on a penalty kick that resulted from a foul on an Indian corner kick. But Gavin Gaudin (Flowood) equalized the game in the ninth minute when he found the back of the net with his right foot.
 
About five minutes later, Sonny Bizure (North Billerica, MA) put the Eagles out in front with his goal in the fourteenth minute.
 
The Indians would later tie the game with less than five minutes left in the first half. The score would be 2-2 at the break.
 
Itawamba opened the second half scoring and took a 3-2 lead and would put one past the keeper a few minutes later to make the score 4-2.
 
Gaudin put the Eagles down one with a long-range free-kick score to make the score 4-3. This goal would complete Gaudin's second brace of the season.
 
The Eagles had one final push to score but couldn't get one in the back of the net and the Indians would walk away with a 4-3 victory.
