JACKSON, Miss. – The Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) has announced its 2025 Men's soccer awards, with Hinds Community College earning seven selections to the All-MACCC teams.
All-MACCC First Team – Elliot Duffy
Sophomore goalkeeper Elliot Duffy was named to the All-MACCC First team for the first time in his career and earned a spot on the All-MACCC teams in back-to-back seasons. Duffy played all 20 matches for the Eagles in goal and finished with 72 saves and only allowed 25 goals throughout the season.
All-MACCC First Team – Jedin Lee
Joining Duffy on the All-MACCC First Team is sophomore defender Jedin Lee. Jedin was the anchor on the back line for the Eagles and finished the season with five goals and 13 assists. This is Jedin's second All-MACCC honor as a member of the Eagles.
All-MACCC Second Team – Cody Barnett
Cody Barnett earned his second straight All-MACCC honor after finishing the season with 15 goals and eight assists. With his 15 goals, he currently ranked 19th in goals scored in the NJCAA.
All-MACCC Honorable Mention – Oscar Tovar
Oscar Tovar earned his first recognition by the MACCC this season by grabbing a spot on the All-MACCC Honorable Mention team. Tovar played a key role in the midfield this season for Hinds. He finished the season with four goals and eight assists.
All-MACCC Honorable Mention – August Lydiksen
August Lydiksen earned his first honor by the MACCC, grabbing a spot on the All-MACCC Honorable Mention team. August finished the season tied for the team high in goal (15) and had a team-high of 10 assists on the season. With the 10 assists, he is 8th overall in that offensive category.
All-MACCC Honorable Mention – Gian Filizzola
Gian Filizzola earned his first career All-MACCC selection by grabbing a spot on the All-MACCC honorable Mention team. Gian grabbed 13 goals and four assists during the 2025 seasons this season.
All-MACCC Honorable Mention – Keller Reed
Keller Reed earned his first All-MACCC selection after a two-year starter for the Eagles on the backline. Reed finished the 2025 season with three goals and two assists to round out his career with Hinds.
