ELLISVILLE, Miss. - Jacob Runnels of the Hinds Community College Men's Tennis Team was named to the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference (MACCC) All-MACCC Team after his performances on the court this season.  

Runnels was outstanding this year for the Eagles as he compiled a 17-6 record in singles play and a 13-10 record in doubles action. The sophomore won his final two matches on Thursday with a 9-8 (7-5) victory in doubles play and a 7-5, 6-0 singles victory over the Meridian Eagles.  

Jacob and the rest of the Eagles concluded play in the NJCAA Region XXIII Men's Tennis Championships on Thursday in Ellisville, MS on the campus of Jones College.
